The Doomsday Conspiracy by Sidney Sheldon Review

The Doomsday Conspiracy by Sidney Sheldon Review

Being sent on a top-secret mission that even he doesn’t have full details on; Robert Bellamy is dispatched to look for ten known witnesses of a mysterious balloon crash.

As he goes around the world to finish this seemingly impossible mission, Robert starts suspecting something more going on behind the scenes, and he quickly finds himself at the center of a government conspiracy with more than just his job on the line.

The Doomsday Conspiracy was the first Sidney Sheldon book I read and I was mindblown by the intriguing plot.

With practically the world being against him, our main character Robert Bellamy had made it out alive through his knowledge, skill, instinct, and a whole lot of luck.

The protagonist travels to a variety of countries to meet with characters of various ethnicities, professions, and personalities with the only thing in common between them being their presence at a crash site due to their own unique experiences, which made this all the more interesting.

Although I found the ending a little abrupt and found some of the deep and dark points to be discussed very shallowly, this book was an enjoyable read even for someone who doesn’t particularly care for the alien media.

With a captivating plot, witty writing, and secret conspiracies, if you’re a fan of science-fiction or thriller this is a real go-to.
